In February we collaborated with Dell to produce the Future of Technology Report 2017, which showcases the changes taking place within the creative industries from a tech perspective over the next 12 months.
From the outset, we were keen to make the report as engaging as possible, having seen so many reports over the years that left us feeling flat. To try and achieve this, we wanted to put people at the heart of the report, and so we embarked on a series of interviews with agencies across a number of different sectors. (These interviews were intersected with results from a survey, which had been hosted on the Creative Bloq website.)
We spoke to architects, film-makers, and even interviewed the Oscar-winning Moving Picture Company, ahead of its VFX success in Hollywood with The Jungle Book. The report is now available as a free, 11-page PDF download via Creative Bloq, and it showcases the importance that the likes of rendering, GPU, VR, AR and high definition video will play in the design industry over the coming year and beyond.
